Vintage Sekova Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar 030321
This Item is in Good Condition. There are various signs of wear (dings, scratches, rash) but nothing that negatively affects the performance or structural integrity of the guitar. One of the tuning machine bushings has been replaced with one that fits, but doesn't match. There is some visible fret wear, but we estimate that the frets still have about 80% life left. One of the tone knobs has a little chunk missing from it but it still sits firmly on the pot and functions as it should.
- Made in Japan
Not much is known about the history of Sekova guitars. This particular instrument appears to have been built in the 1970s. It features a bolt on neck, trapeze tailpiece with tune-o-matic style bridge (nylon saddles), 21 frets, bock inlays, rosewood fretboard, two humbuckers, a three way switch, two volume controls and two tone controls. This is an easy playing and surprisingly versatile guitar, great for blues, funk, motown, jazz, or rock.
All instruments purchased from Small Box Music include a compete inspection and custom setup by our in-house luthier prior to shipment.
