This item is in very good condition. A previous owner replaced a capacitor and swapped out the tubes. The original speaker has been replaced with a Warehouse Speakers G8C 20W 8" Guitar Speaker. The speaker output has been modified to a 1/4 inch jack. The original capacitor, old tubes, and original speaker are included.
The Vibro Champ is a fantastic choice for home use, studio recording, and all around fun with a small sized amp. Due to the extra 12AX7 powering the amp's Vibrato circuit, the Vibro Champ is known to have a more sophisticated sound than it's sister amp the Champ, and it is also keen to break up with more saturation. The original tubes (including one 5Y3, one 6V6, and two 12AX7s), and the original Fender Special Design 8" speaker are present within this wonderful little amplifier. This is a clean, brilliant example of vintage Fender history, a true testament to the quality of their Fullerton, California factory in the 1960s.
