This item is in very good condition. There are some surface scratches and other minor cosmetic blemishes in the finish but it is fully functional and structurally sound.
The Samick MALIBU SERIES sought to replicate the tonal character of the Fender Stratocaster but with a more comfortable alder body and other features. The neck pocket is deeper than a typical strat for enhanced playability. Its angled back head stock gives greater string tension at the nut, boosting the instrument's attack and sustain. Previous Samick Strat copies had Strat-style headstocks, but these were altered for the Malibu series. Additionally, the 3-per-side tuners promote better tuning stability with a straighter string pull. Duncan Designed pickups authentically replicate the classic Strat tone, delivering glassy clarity and warmth.
