This Item is in Very Good Condition. There are some signs of wear but it is still fully intact, functional and sturdy. Overall, in great shape for a guitar strap that is more than 60 years old.
Amacord guitar straps were made in Italy and were often included when you purchased a new Gibson or Fender guitar from a guitar store in the 1950s and 1960s. This particular one was recently found in the case with a 1961 Gibson ES-330. According to the previous owner of the guitar, this strap was "original" to the guitar when it was purchased brand new in 1961.
This strap is brown leather and adjustable, measuring between 47"-57" in length. The "banana-style" shoulder pad is also brown leather with white (aged) lining and measures 9.75" in length and 2.125" in width.
A great piece of authentic "case candy" to add your your vintage collection or a functional strap to take on the stage to add some retro style to your guitar. Your choice.
